CIOTA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") sets forth the following terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") regarding the use of the online shopping site "CIOTA ONLINE SHOP" (hereinafter referred to as "the Site") operated by the Company. Customers who use the Site (hereinafter referred to as "Customers") shall be deemed to have fully agreed to the following conditions.
1. About the Terms of Use
These Terms shall apply to all Customers, including members, with respect to the use of the Site.
2. Use of the Site
Customers shall use the Site in accordance with these Terms, laws and regulations, rules, notifications, and any other rules separately established by the Company.
3. About Membership
"Member" refers to a person who has applied for membership registration in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company after agreeing to these Terms, and whose registration has been approved by the Company.
4. Handling of Customer Information (Personal Information)
The Site strictly manages customer information (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Information") in accordance with the following policies.
4-1. Purpose and Scope of Use of Personal Information
At the time of membership registration or product orders, Customers will be asked to register their name, email address, password, postal code, address, phone number, date of birth, and gender with their consent. The registered Personal Information will only be used for purposes necessary for using the services of the Site, such as payment, delivery, provision of product information, reference for store and product composition, inquiries to Customers, operation of the Site, or in cases where Customers have given prior consent. It shall not be used for any other purpose.
4-2. Disclosure, Correction, and Suspension of Use of Personal Information
If Customers wish to check or correct their Personal Information held by the Company, they may view and correct it themselves via their personal "My Page" on the Site. Access to My Page requires login using the registered email address and password. In addition, suspension of use and disposal of Personal Information held by the Company may be requested by the Customer directly to the Company.
4-3. Protection of Personal Information
Personal Information registered by Customers is managed and protected under a robust system. Access to Personal Information is limited by access rights within the system and restricted only to those who need it for business purposes. Furthermore, when registering membership, subscribing to newsletters, placing orders, or entering credit card numbers, encryption using TLS/SSL technology is applied to enhance security against interception or interference.
Please note: To use the Site, a PC browser or smartphone compatible with TLS/SSL is required.
Also, the Site does not store any credit card information of Customers.
4-4. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
Except as required by law, the Site will not provide or disclose Personal Information to third parties without Customer consent.
4-5. About Cookies
The Site may display advertisements distributed by third parties, and in relation to this, such third parties may obtain and use cookie information, etc., of Customers visiting the Site. Cookie information obtained by third parties will be handled in accordance with the privacy policies of those third parties. Customers can stop the use of cookie information for advertising by accessing the opt-out page provided on the third party's website.
A cookie is a mechanism whereby browsing history, input details, etc., exchanged between browser and server when using a webpage, are saved on the Customer's computer as a file. When the same page is accessed again, the page operator can tailor the display using cookie information. If the Customer's browser is set to allow sending and receiving cookies, the website can acquire cookies from the Customer's browser. For privacy protection, the browser only transmits cookies sent and received between that website's server and the browser. Customers can choose settings such as "Allow all cookies," "Reject all cookies," or "Notify when receiving cookies." The method varies depending on the browser, so please check the "Help" menu of your browser.
Please note: if you select "Reject all cookies," you may be restricted from using services that require authentication.
4-6. Disclaimer
Despite the Site's information management system and security measures, the Site shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Customers or third parties due to improper acts by hackers or others.
4-7. Customer's Management Responsibility
Access using the registered email address and password shall be deemed as a valid manifestation of intent by the Customer, and any resulting payments, etc. shall be the responsibility of the Customer. Customers are therefore requested to strictly manage their email address and password.
5. Revocation of Usage Qualifications
The Company may revoke usage rights if any of the following apply:
- False declarations made to the Site
- Non-payment of fees (including refusal to accept cash-on-delivery items or returns due to long absence)
- Unilateral returns for Customer's own reasons (size mismatch, different from image, mistaken order, etc.)
- Purchases found to be for profit or resale purposes
- If the delivery destination is judged to be other than a private residence due to frequent resale, the order may be canceled (inquiries regarding judgment criteria cannot be answered)
- Any other case where the Company deems the Customer inappropriate as a user
6. Ordering Procedures
For details on ordering procedures (how to order, payment methods, delivery, etc.), please refer to "For First-Time Users."
7. Order Restrictions
For limited items, the number of orders may be restricted to one per person.
8. Purchasing Products
1. Members shall apply for the purchase of products via the Site and services in accordance with these Terms.
2. A sales contract for the product shall be established when the application process is completed by the Company and a confirmation email is sent to the Customer.
3. Notwithstanding the preceding, in cases of fraudulent or inappropriate acts, or violation of these Terms, the Company may cancel or terminate the sales contract or take other appropriate measures.
4. Applications for purchase must be made by the Member themselves. Purchases made by a third party on behalf of a Member, or using a Member's name, are prohibited.
5. Delivery is limited to within Japan.
9. Out-of-Stock Products
All products on the Site are limited in stock. If out of stock, the order may be canceled. If stock runs out after the order is completed, the order will be canceled. If multiple products are ordered and some are out of stock, only the available items will be shipped after confirmation with the Customer.
10. Cancellations, Exchanges, and Returns
Unilateral cancellations, exchanges, or returns due to Customer reasons (size mismatch, different from image, mistaken order, etc.) are not accepted. If the delivered product is damaged, defective, or different from the ordered product, exchanges will be accepted only if reported to the Site within 7 days of delivery.
Exchanges are limited to size changes of the same product, subject to stock availability (color changes are not accepted). Archive sale items cannot be exchanged.

11. Cancellation of Orders by the Company
Orders may be canceled after receipt in the following cases:
- Disapproval of credit card use by the card company
- False information in the registered Personal Information
- Orders for products with long-term uncertain arrival or discontinued production
- Orders exceeding purchase limits for limited items
12. Price Changes and Adjustments
The Site strives to display accurate product information, but in case of incorrect pricing:
- If the displayed price is higher than the correct price, Customers will be charged the lower (correct) price.
- If the displayed price is lower than the correct price, and discovered before shipment, the sale will be canceled after contacting the Customer (unless the Customer wishes to purchase at the correct price). In such cancellation, no data will be sent to the credit card company, and credit information will be responsibly deleted by the Site.
13. Cooling-Off Period
Sales on the Site are not subject to the cooling-off system under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions. The cooling-off system applies to door-to-door sales and other forced sales, and does not apply to online sales where Customers voluntarily make purchasing decisions.
14. Changes to Service Content
The contents of services on the Site may be changed, suspended, or discontinued without notice.
15. Suspension of the Site
The Site may be temporarily or permanently suspended without notice due to system failures or server maintenance. The Company shall not be liable for any damages resulting from such suspension.
16. Links to Other Sites
The Site may contain links to affiliated companies or other sites. The Site does not inspect, evaluate, or guarantee such companies or third parties. The Site assumes no responsibility or obligation regarding services or products offered outside the Site.
17. Copyrights
All content (images, audio, text, etc.) displayed on the Site belongs to the Company or the content provider. Any use, modification, or provision to third parties without prior permission is strictly prohibited.
18. Provided Information
While the Site strives to maintain accuracy in product descriptions, it does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of the content.
19. Revisions to the Terms of Use
These Terms may be revised without notice. In such cases, Customers are deemed to have agreed to the revisions when posted on the Site.
20. Other Disclaimers
1. The Company shall not be liable for undelivered order information or email transmission failures due to internet troubles or any other causes.
2. If Customers engage in acts contrary to public order and morals, laws, or potentially unlawful acts, all services provided by the Company will be suspended.
3. Any defamatory or slanderous content regarding the Site or the Company, or content contrary to these Terms, may be deleted without notice (including emails).
4. The Company assumes no responsibility for any content of websites linked to the Site.
21. Court of Jurisdiction
In the event of litigation regarding the use of this service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of jurisdiction.
22. Governing Law
The establishment, validity, interpretation, and performance of the Site shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Delivery Time
In principle, items will be shipped within 2–4 business days after receiving the order (excluding summer/winter holidays). For pre-order items, the scheduled shipping date will be indicated on the product details page.Please note that delivery may be delayed due to various reasons.

Cancellations, Exchanges, and Returns
Returns and exchanges are accepted only for the following reasons:
- Damage during delivery, defective products, incorrect delivery
- Size exchange of the same product (limited to once; color changes not accepted)
Products not eligible for exchange/return:
- Customer reasons (different from image, mistaken order, etc.)
- Archive sale items
- Products damaged or soiled after receipt by the Customer
- Used products
- Products with lost or damaged packaging (tags, cases, etc.)
- Products returned after more than 8 days from arrival
- Products purchased outside this Site
For exchanges, all delivered items (delivery slip, product tags, store bag, etc.) must be returned together. Incomplete returns cannot be accepted.
Special Sales Conditions
Delivery may not be possible outside Japan, or to certain regions and remote islands. Orders may also be canceled due to out-of-stock items. Other special sales conditions may be indicated on screen.
Issuance of Receipts
Individual receipts cannot be issued.
For payments by credit card, the "Usage Statement" or "Withdrawal Statement" issued by the card company shall serve as a substitute receipt.
