Fabric & Detail

CIOTA’s signature item, the wide tapered version of the Baker pants. Both the warp and weft are made of 100% Supima cotton, resulting in a high-density fabric with a soft texture and smooth feel against the skin. The fabric becomes more supple with each wash, developing a rich character. It’s a material that ages beautifully over time.


The design and details—including the wide tapered silhouette, urea buttons, and single-stitched pockets—are inspired by the Baker pants adopted by the U.S. military in the early 1970s.


Unlike previous models, these pants have been pre-washed and dried, so they are designed to resist size changes even after washing at home.
