This style is inspired by women’s high-waisted denim from the 1940s.
Compared to the High-rise 5 Pocket Pants, the silhouette is designed to minimise the roundness of the hips for a sleeker look. It has been updated with a more wearable fit that softens the boyish impression.

The fabric is raw (kibata) denim that has not undergone any finishing processes such as sizing removal, shrink-proofing, twill-stop treatment or singeing. The blue denim uses uneven yarns dyed with synthetic indigo for the warp, whilst the black and grey denim utilise rope-dyed white yarns using sulphur dyes. Suvin cotton is used for the weft. Woven on vintage power looms (shuttle looms), this selvedge denim combines a substantial texture with the gentle, supple comfort characteristic of Supima cotton. As it has been pre-washed and dried, there is no need to worry about significant shrinkage when washing at home.

Combining the substantial texture unique to unprocessed denim with the supple comfort characteristic of Supima cotton, this garment will develop its own unique character as you wear it, becoming a truly personal piece over time.
