CIOTA's iconic straight denim has been fully renewed. The fabric has been changed to "raw" denim, which has not been glue-removed, shrink-proofed, anti-straightening and hair-burnished. Shrinkage and kinking may occur, but you can enjoy the denim's original texture and changes in expression over time. The silhouette falls from a moderately thick crotch to the hem, with a slightly deeper inseam than before. The overall balance is closer to the vintage model of the 1970s. The blue denim uses a rope-dyed medium-white indigo yarn for the warp, while the black and grey denim uses a rope-dyed medium-white sulphide-dyed yarn for the warp. Both weft yarns are made from extra-long delicate cotton, Suvin cotton, and the selvedge denim is finished on an old-style power loom (shuttle loom).
