We have created a regular collar shirt using cotton linen poplin woven with Svin cotton warp threads and linen weft threads harvested in northern Normandy, France. Svin cotton is spun using the ring spinning method to bring out its rich fullness and softness. Although this method is less efficient in terms of production, the resulting yarn is characterized by its uniform twist and high strength. The fabric blends the smoothness and elegant luster of Svin cotton with the crispness and coolness of French linen. The design motif is inspired by 1960s American vintage clothing. It combines the delicate details of a dress shirt, such as fine threads and intricate stitching, with the casual vibe of workwear achieved through Okayama's unique winding sewing machine technique, creating a perfect balance.
